Terms of Use

Last updated: April 1, 2025 · Contemplation, Inc. d/b/a okfire.me

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using okfire.me (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Contemplation, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as okfire.me ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Not Legal Advice — Critical Disclaimer

THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE. okfire.me is an informational tool that provides risk assessments based on publicly available employment law information. Nothing on this platform, including any risk score, report, separation letter, checklist, talking point, or other output, constitutes legal advice, creates an attorney-client relationship, or should be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney.

Employment law varies by jurisdiction and changes frequently. The information provided by the Service may not reflect the most current legal developments. Your specific situation may involve facts, circumstances, and legal considerations not captured by this tool.

YOU ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO CONSULT A QUALIFIED EMPLOYMENT ATTORNEY LICENSED IN YOUR STATE BEFORE MAKING ANY TERMINATION DECISION, PARTICULARLY IN HIGH-RISK SITUATIONS. The Company expressly disclaims any liability for actions taken or not taken based on the output of this Service.

3. Description of Service

okfire.me provides an automated termination risk assessment tool for business owners and employers. The Service generates informational reports, template documents, and general guidance based on user-provided inputs. All outputs are generated algorithmically or by artificial intelligence and are not reviewed by a licensed attorney before delivery to users.

4. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and the Company or any of its employees, contractors, or affiliates. No communication through the Service — including submitted questionnaire answers, generated reports, or any other interaction — shall be deemed to create such a relationship. The Company is not a law firm and does not employ attorneys in the provision of the Service.

5. Accuracy and Limitations

The Service provides general risk assessments based on common employment law principles. It cannot account for all relevant facts, recent legal developments, local ordinances, or the specific circumstances of your situation. Risk scores are illustrative and do not predict legal outcomes. The Company makes no representation that outputs generated by the Service are accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.

The separation letters and documents generated by the Service are templates intended as starting points. They should be reviewed and, where appropriate, modified by qualified legal counsel before use. The Company makes no warranty that such documents will be legally sufficient in your jurisdiction or for your specific situation.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

Access to full reports and documents requires payment of the applicable fee. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars. The Company offers a 100% money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with your report, contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. Refund requests should be submitted to support@okfire.me. Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; refunds for annual plans are prorated for unused months.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and software — are owned by Contemplation, Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.

Documents and reports generated by the Service for your use are licensed to you for personal business use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense generated outputs.

8. User Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age; (b) you are using the Service for lawful business purposes; (c) the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge; (d) you will not use the Service to facilitate unlawful employment practices; and (e) you will not attempt to circumvent any paywall, access restriction, or security feature of the Service.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE COMPANY IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Contemplation, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or any employment decision you make based on information provided by the Service.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. Changes to Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
